Book Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is served daily and our menu changes with the seasons, it is £25 pp and includes delicate finger sandwiches, savouries and a delectable array of sweet confections plus warm scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Tea or a speciality coffee of your choice is included.
You can choose from classic , veggie, no fish or gluten free options (unavailable as vegan option)
Group Bookings welcome and a popular option for baby showers and other special events
We ask you to book your table 48hrs in advance and a £5 deposit is required to secure the booking this can be paid via cafe booking system or call the cafe to pay over the phone.
On Mothers Day 10th March 2023 we will be serving our Extra Special Sparkling Afternoon Tea £30, this too can be booked via the booking portal below.
Example Afternoon Tea Menu
Selection of finger sandwiches with the following fillings: Chicken tarragon mayo, mature cheddar & chutney, smoked salmon & cream cheese, and brie with cranberry. (vegi option include free range egg mayo instead of chicken and cream cheese and cucumber instead of the fish)Savouries: Cheese scone buttered with red onion marmalade, mature cheddar and tomato mini quiche.
Cakes can include a selection of sweet treat for example : Mini carrot cake/mini lemon meringue pie/chocolate and hazelnut brownie .
Sweet treats vary and seasonal selection is included ie Valentines , Easter or Festive themes.Classic sweet scone with mini pot jam & clotted cream
Gluten Free Afternoon tea: Sandwiches are all on GF bread , Savouries are frittata and a GF version or our truffle and mushroom tartlet Cakes: GF Chocolate and Hazelnut brownie/Lemon pot/GF Carrot cake. Meringue with clotted cream and fruit compote instead of scone
